Head of Diversity & Inclusion Award

Alex is Talent Inclusion Director and Head of Diversity & Inclusion in the UK at engineering and consultancy company Ramboll. Alex devised and implemented Ramboll’s diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategy, embedding D&I into the very heart of the business. Focusing on three core areas; collaborative culture that nurtures inclusivity, attracting and developing diverse talent, and advancing inclusive design to maximise social value, the strategy speaks not only to those within Ramboll, but also to the solutions they devise for clients. Responsible for delivering Ramboll’s D&I commitments Alex has introduced many initiatives to inspire positive change, including leadership training, emerging talent development, mental health first aiders and enhanced policies around parental leave and flexible working. All of these are underpinned by four active networks; Gender Balance, LGBT+ Allies, STEM and Wellbeing, which Alex steers.
