Champion of Inclusion Award
Ben is the Director of Workforce at UCLH (University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) which is made up of six hospitals and 10,000 health and care professionals. UCLH have a clinical and academic workforce from over 121 different nations – making it the most internationally diverse workforce in the NHS. Ben seeks to be constantly accessible to staff at all levels and displays a tireless commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion across the Trust. He challenges all of his teams to consider the diversity and inclusion implications of new initiatives and to factor in both from the outset. Ben is always seeking new ideas to stretch what the NHS can achieve and is a great national advocate for inclusion when he speaks about it on TV and social media.
