Chris is a former professional footballer and the former 1st team manager of Queens Park Rangers football club, making him one of very few from the BAME community within his position. He has coached/managed at all levels of the football pyramid, including the England National teams and his managerial roles have seen him listed amongst the 30 most influential black people in football by The Voice Newspaper. It is through his role within football, in particular currently at QPR FC as technical director of the academy and 1st team coach, where he has been able to use his experiences of adversity to create pathways and provide an equal platform for staff and players. This trailblazer has demonstrated resilience, integrity and sheer determination to provide social justice to an industry that still has inequalities. He is highly regarded as an inspiration in changing the face of the academy at QPR.
