Head of Diversity & Inclusion Award

In November 2016 Claire was formally appointed to the Head of Diversity & Inclusion after presenting a business case to the Board to create this new role. She was given this role with a remit of creating, embedding and driving the strategy for D&I in addition to their Corporate Social Responsibility. The biggest challenge that T-Systems faced related to the gender imbalance that they had in senior roles and the need to attract and recruit more females. Claire developed a clear business strategy and aligned this with the Board of Directors, the people managers and finally the employees. She created several champions across the business to act as voices and change agents of which she now meets with on a monthly basis to review progress on the initiatives. Claire was responsible for creating an Everywoman network over 4 years ago and re-branded this to be called Diversi-T to broaden the topics that were being covered.
