Best Diversity Resource/Initiative Award
The inclusive culture initiative was created out of E.ON UK’s vision to empower all colleagues to be their authentic selves, feel valued, have a voice, and for leaders to role model inclusive leadership behaviours. So they launched the two-part initiative ‘#ThisisMe and Inclusive Leadership Training’. Colleagues from across all levels of the organisation, including board members and the CEO took part in the #ThisisMe videos. The videos were hugely successful in not only increasing awareness but also in highlighting some biases that can exist. Building on the video engagement and feedback, E.ON UK launched the Inclusive Leadership Training for all senior managers. This training is designed to equip leaders with the knowledge of why Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is important to their business, as well as how they can lead and role model inclusivity.
