Research tells us that unconscious bias training is great for raising awareness, but that it is not the silver bullet which people once thought it was. Henri Bergson once said, ‘The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend’. In other words, it is not enough to simply be aware of your unconscious biases.
