The webinar will provide an overview of what domestic violence is and how it relates to our workplaces beyond the pandemic.  It focuses on the duty of care employers have and how action on areas such as Domestic Violence are key to ensure a fully inclusive workplace.  A case study will be shared into how Anglo American plc has recognised domestic violence as a barrier to inclusivity their response.

About Liz Douglas

Liz is the Head of HR – Corporate Functions and Inclusion and Diversity at Anglo American and has held a number of roles during the last 8 years at Anglo American including being the first head of Inclusion and Diversity with accountability for developing and implementing the first global I&D strategy. Liz has had a very varied career within HR, internal and change communication, employee engagement, CSR and marketing across a number of highly regulated sectors (financial services, aviation/travel and mining) both globally and in the UK. Prior to Anglo American she was Head of Group Internal Communication for Manchester Airports Group and spent 17 years in a variety of roles with The Co-operative. Liz has an undergraduate degree in Geography & American Studies from Keele University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management and has completed an Executive Development Programme with Warwick University Business School.
