In 2021 E.ON UK moved away from traditional talent management to an inclusive approach recognising that everyone has talent and potential to develop their skills and career. E.ON’s five talent networks are focused on developing skills for the future and improving diversity.
Fast Forward, a talent network to help build and accelerate women’s careers, was launched on International Women’s day in 2021. Now with over 500 members it’s helping women to plan and progress their careers.
During this session, Inclusive Top 50 UK Employer E.ON will explore their journey over the past two years, look at what progress has been made, and share best practice with other employers looking to support female employees with fast forwarding their career’s.

Fiona lead’s the digital transformation for E.ON UK, where she is focused on understanding customers’ needs and turning those needs into technology services and sustainable solutions for customers’ homes and businesses.
As a black female leader, creating an inclusive workplace and improving E.ON’s diversity is professionally and personally important to Fiona. Fiona is a board sponsor of Fast Forward, E.ON’s talent network, which launched in March 2021 to support women’s career progression and development.
Throughout her 20 years’ experience in all areas of IT and business transformation, Fiona has led transformational changes, supporting sustainable growth and multimillion cost efficiencies, to transforming legacy technology estates, enabling organisations to reduce costs and effectively compete in the market.
Prior to joining E.ON in 2019, Fiona was the Chief Information Officer for Compass Group UK and has worked in fast moving consumer goods, food service and retail across FTSE 100 and 250 companies.

During over 20 years at E.ON, I’ve undertaken a wide variety of roles within HR, Communications and Marketing both within the UK business as well as spending time on international assignment in Italy. Appointed Director of Organisational Development and Engagement in November 2019, I’m responsible for Diversity & Inclusion, People Development, Reward & Benefits, and Internal Communications.
