Lincolnshire Police employ just over 2000 staff and police officers and currently holds 36th place in Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers Index.
The force aims to make Lincolnshire the safest place to live, work and visit and their four core values are being open, fair, courageous and inclusive. Lincolnshire Police put people at the heart of everything they do.
In 2022, recognising that they could do more to support staff with dyslexia, as part of the above commitments, the force trained a number of internal dyslexia workplace assessors. This dyslexia support is led by Hayley Measures, Positive Action and Engagement Officer and Deputy Chair for the Neurodiversity staff network.
In this webinar, Hayley talks about the initiatives and support Lincolnshire Police introduced in January 2023 to help their dyslexic employees, many of which are at low or no cost. She will share their experiences of what is working well, and what difference this has made to dyslexic members of staff.
