SUMMARY:How can you create a workplace culture that prevents sexual harassment?
DESCRIPTION:When we progress from simply raising awareness of sexual harassment in the workplace to actively trying to prevent it from happening in the first place it creates an opportunity for employers to make a real difference to their workplace culture. But how do you create impactful programmes of work that stand a chance of genuinely reducing the prevalence of sexual harassment? \nJoin psychologist Dr Nina Burrowes for this webinar in which she’ll share her expertise in using organisational culture to create a workplace environment where sexual harassment is identified\, challenged\, managed and ultimately prevented. \nDuring this webinar we will discuss: \n\nThe difference between ‘raising awareness’ of sexual harassment and ‘prevention’ of sexual harassment\nHow do sexual harassers use company culture to their advantage and what can you do about it?\nHow can you empower members of staff to notice and challenge behaviour?\nHow can you create a workplace culture that supports reporting of harassment?\nThe importance of working in ways that are trauma informed and sensitive to members of staff who have lived experience of sexual harm\nThe importance of supporting staff who are responsible for driving and delivering this change in the workplace\n\nThis is a strategic session that will be suitable for anyone who has any responsibility for the way in which their organisation prevents or responds to sexual harassment. The webinar will be useful for those of you who want to have a sense of where your organisations is right now and what the path ahead might look like. \nBring your questions and your curiosity – both will be very welcome. \n\nAbout the facilitator \n\nDr Nina Burrowes is a psychologist specialising in the topic of sexual harm.
