Champion of Inclusion Award

A rising star in the inclusion field, Kelly-Ann co-founded the Blue Table Talk, a web show which highlights the experiences of students from underrepresented and marginalised communities at the University of Bath. The pilot episode is the second most viewed video of the Student Union’s Facebook page. Under her leadership as Chair of the Race Equality Network, they introduced Afro-Caribbean hair products and food to the University’s grocery store, Fresh. As a member of several campaigns to decolonise the curriculum, Kelly-Ann contributed to the diversification of the Political Theory course which now incorporates more women and ethnic minorities in the module. On an international scale, Kelly-Ann is an ambassador and policy expert of the African, Caribbean, Pacific Young Professionals Network; her policy recommendations have been published and recognised at the European Parliament and African Union.
