Naheed is the Associate Director for Inclusion and Engagement at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group, one of the biggest NHS organisations in the country with a workforce of over 22,000. Naheed takes a strategic role leading one of the largest EDI functions of it’s kind in the Health Service managing the Group EDI function and influencing decisions made locally, regionally and nationally. Naheed is a progressive, innovative, passionate, inclusive leader and an NHS WRES expert; using this knowledge to champion all protected groups. She developed the Pennine AIS Partnership, set up mentoring for BAME staff and implemented BAME, Disability and LGBT staff networks whilst working tirelessly with local communities. Along with her team, Naheed is leading the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group to becoming a centre of excellence with over 50 champions across all levels of the organisation.
