Trevor Wood is an Artist who has worked with disabled and vulnerable people and sat on several Boards and committees over the past 30+ years. In 1989 he was invited to join the Board of Greater London Sports Association for People with Mental Handicap (as it was then termed) and a few years later as Vice Chair led the negotiations to merge 4 charities to form London Sports Forum for Disabled People. He co-founded and was a Trustee of English Federation of Disability Sport. Trevor was a member of The FA’s Tackling Homophobia Taskforce. Trevor co-founded and was a committee member of Pride in Football and as a West Ham fan co founded and is a committee member of Pride of Irons, the official West Ham LGBTQ+ supporters group. Trevor is currently Vice Chair of Wise Thoughts, the LGBT Arts charity. Trevor was awarded his MBE in 2003 for services to sport for the disabled.
