Inclusive Companies 2019/2020 Launch Event @ Bloomberg LLP | England | United Kingdom
Inclusive Companies are excited to invite you to our official 2019/2020 Launch in partnership with Bloomberg LLP. With ethnicity pay gap reporting on the horizon and many organisations investing in D&I, we want to look beyond the now and continue to progress towards a more inclusive future. Through data gathered from the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List, Inclusive Companies have reported that 23.08% of those participating had no disability representation in senior/executive roles, with 37.15% of companies reporting fewer than 30% of female employees at this level, and 41.03% of companies having 0% of BAME representation at board level. The data is compelling but are we making progress fast enough? Our premier network of organisations leading in the advancement of D&I will participate in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list later this year and are dedicated to collaborating with other sectors to spur on progress and create a more inclusive tomorrow. Taking place on 3rd July, this exclusive event will act as a hub for likeminded individuals to share best practice, engage with senior leaders and discuss the latest themes and trends across the diversity arena. The Inclusive Companies Launch in collaboration with The National Diversity Awards will bring communities and businesses together, featuring a host of dynamic speakers discussing topics such as the complexity of intersectionality, attracting diverse candidates to the board and tackling the disability employment gap. Afternoon tea will be served followed by post event celebrations. This will be an unprecedented opportunity to network with some of the nation’s leading diversity advocates and community activists. Join the increasing number of organisations that see our vision; those that are brave and innovative, those who want to sustain true inclusion in society, and those who see diversity & inclusion as a smart way to grow their business. 2019 National Diversity Awards @ Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral | St James Mt | England | United Kingdom
The National Diversity Awards – a prestigious black tie event, which celebrates the excellent achievements of grass- root communities that tackle the issues in today’s society, giving them recognition for their dedication and hard work. Charities, role models and community heroes will be honoured at the ceremony showcasing their outstanding devotion to enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion; thus embracing the excellence of all our citizens irrespective of race, faith, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability and culture. The concept for the National Diversity Awards arose when The Diversity Group identified an urgent need for more positive role models to be actively promoted, with the aim to empower and inspire the wide breadth of diverse communities across the UK. If ever there was a time to celebrate and elevate the truly staggering diversity of talent the UK has to offer, it is now – opportunities are thin, and deprived communities need motivation and inspiration. These awards are for people who inspire other individuals through their work, through their commitment to helping others, through their infectious personalities and through adversity.
