What is Elevate 1000?

Elevate 1000 is a national movement that will connect forward-thinking employers across the UK with 1,000 talented young people (18–30) from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

Through paid internships, apprenticeships, and career pathways, Elevate 1000 will:

• Break down systemic barriers to opportunity
• Give employers access to untapped, high-potential talent
• Build a fairer, stronger workforce for the future

Why It Matters

Young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds are 80% less likely to secure professional jobs than their more advantaged peers – even when equally qualified (Social Mobility Commission).
