Diversity Champion Award for Private Sector

Julie was ‘Highly Commended’ at the 2018 Women In Finance Awards for leading on the support NatWest gives to female entrepreneurs. Julie, with 30+ year career in Banking established the Women In Business Accreditation program certified by Chartered Banker and everywoman, a professional qualification, held by over 500 Relationship Managers who provide tailored support to female business owners. Julie acts as a mentor to the next generation of female talent, including overseas through her work with the Global Banking Alliance. Julie is an external influencer with regular contribution in press and radio and has chaired the BBA Diversity & Inclusion Council, the Access to Finance Group at the APPG for Women in Enterprise and sits on the NatWest Business Banking Board. She acts as an Enterprise Ambassador and is an inspirational role model who is passionate about helping others succeed.
