INCLUSION STATEMENT

Our culture is a key focus for us at TransUnion – since joining the business, I’ve noticed that my own beliefs and values are very much aligned to the ones we encourage and nurture in our workplace. At TransUnion® in the UK, our focus remains on making a workplace that attracts leading talent. Our Inclusion and Belonging Groups consistently work to enhance our environment, so that we can retain exceptionally diverse talent. I’m conscious that diverse teams and leadership help organisations avoid groupthink and operate more creatively in terms of how they address both problems and opportunities. Additionally, I value the fact that a diverse and confident workplace is a more socially enriching and inspiring place to work!

Something that really stands out for me is how at TransUnion, we come together as one team and support each other – the past few years have sometimes been difficult, but we’ve continued to support, inspire and overcome challenges together. We strive to create a happy, safe, and healthy working environment for all our people – where we trust and respect each other and celebrate our diversity.

CEO STATEMENT

Madhusudan Kejriwal

I joined TransUnion in January 2025 as the CEO, Regional President for the UK and Europe. I started my career with Capital One and subsequently worked at HSBC for 20 years, helping steer the organisation through some of its biggest challenges across a range of different markets. Throughout my career I have gained extensive experience in strategic leadership whilst managing large and diverse teams.

As a lifelong ‘migrant’ I have worked and lived in 4 different cultures across continents and have picked up 4 languages. These experiences have driven my sense of empathy and made me acutely aware of how it feels to be an ‘outsider’. This increased my zeal to drive a more inclusive environment, so during my time with HSBC, I was an ambassador (senior sponsor/champion) for their Balance program. This saw me coach three cohorts of middle-level female managers in navigating their careers through a mix of structured exercises and informal mentoring.

I am the Chief Revenue Officer for TransUnion UK, with over 22 years of Strategy, Commercial and Operations experience. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) who moved into Corporate Strategy to help drive a client’s business and ensure their strategy is robust and well thought-through. I moved into commercial roles to work with clients as a trusted advisor to enhance the value to their end customers.

I have been at TransUnion for six years, having come from another Credit Reference Agency. What sets TransUnion apart is the underlying DNA. Many organisations profess to having a collaborative working style when in reality you see a lot of internal politics playing out. I can genuinely say there are very limited politics at TransUnion. Everyone is bought into the common goal of aspiring to double the size of the business and doing it in the right way. The global mission of ‘Information for Good’ is firmly embedded in everything we do – we have a strong purpose as a result.
