Lisa ShokoAbout the facilitator

Lisa Shoko is an experienced consultant, facilitator, and leader with a strong focus on anti-racism, equity, and organisational change. She has worked extensively across sectors, helping teams and senior leaders build inclusive cultures that address systemic inequities.

Lisa is the Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust, Co-Chair of the Race Equality Panel for the Liverpool City Region and leads an anti-racism hub that supports organisations in embedding meaningful, sustainable change. She also runs Venekai, an organisation dedicated to culture diagnostics, leadership coaching, and strategic interventions for equity and inclusion.

With a background in policy, leadership development, and facilitation, Lisa’s work is informed by both research and lived experience. She supports individuals and organisations in navigating complex issues around race, power, and accountability, ensuring that inclusion goes beyond surface-level commitments to create lasting impact.
