Touchstone, a mental health and wellbeing service provider based in Yorkshire, has once again secured second place in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers Index for 2025/26, maintaining its position among the UK’s most inclusive employers. This continued success highlights Touchstone’s exceptional and sustained commitment to embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across its workforce, leadership, and the vital services it provides to communities.

Founded in 1982 in Leeds, Touchstone was established to support individuals experiencing isolation, distress, and mental ill health. Over four decades later, it has become a key provider of mental health and wellbeing services across West Yorkshire, reaching around 10,000 people each year.

With over 200 employees, Touchstone’s impact is far-reaching, not only delivering essential frontline services but also shaping inclusion practices across the health and social care sector. Its people-centred approach, lived-experience leadership model, and strong partnerships with grassroots organisations have cemented its reputation as a pioneer in inclusive service delivery and workplace culture.
