How To Overcome The Intention-Action Gap?

April 10 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Webinar

How organisations address climate, equality, diversity, inclusion matters and other governance risks (ESG) is now viewed as being critical to the long-term sustainability and growth of any commercial or public service organisation. There is no silver bullet to secure equality of opportunity or access for all. It is a complex and “wicked” problem. Organisations in both the private and public sector are increasingly under the spotlight to do business more sustainably. The gap between our good intentions and our ability to take the necessary actions to achieve them is more common than you might think! The Intention-Action Gap occurs when our individual or organisational attitudes, values or intentions do not match our actions.  At this virtual event, ABSTRACT‘s Sue Liburd MBE DL and Mark Fryer will explore how the gap can be influenced by motivated reasoning or performative actions and the impact that getting it right, or wrong, will have on your brand and performance, as well as the attraction and retention of the right people.

Objectives:

To close the gap between good intention and desired outcomes.
To reshape your thinking to inspire you to take action.
